How do you package a book comprised of ten unrelated books?
Italo Calvino's most illustrious work invites you – the reader – to become the protagonist as you join a fellow reader on a global chase for a seemingly untraceable book. Odd chapters tell the story of your joint international mission while even chapters show the first chapter of each of the different books you encounter – always dropping at the highest point of tension.
Cut-out pathways of text from the introductory chapter weave, cross, and intersect in various planes, alluding to the many diverging and concurrent narratives . A physical model was assembled then photographed.
